Aero FightersSTORY / GAMEPLAY
The game's story is pretty simple. You must choose an aircraft shoot your way through multiple enemy squadrons and army forces. The available supersonic aircrafts are from different countries and offer different pros and cons. In Aero Fighters you can fly the American F-18, the Japanese FSX, the Swedish AJ37 or the British AV-8. The enemies vary from small airplanes to air-fortresses and battleships plus numerous of air defense forces occupying the terrains (sea, land, islands etc) below you. On the way, you can collect various power-ups that make your plane stronger, upgrade your weapons or even give you more bombs.

GRAPHICS / SOUND
The SNES conversion is quite good and offers decent graphics and very smooth animation though the colors are a bit darker compared to the original. The game's sound is fine, with a variety of sound effects and music scores. In my opinion, this SNES game could do better and show more, because the truth is that the SNES really has the power to do it. Nevertheless, leaving the arcade aside, this shoot 'em up is fun to play.
